Polar Urals

We straddle a high ridge of the Urals and look west into European Russia with the tundra as far as the eye can see Behind us the Eurasian continent pans out with an equally broad horizon.

We camp in the evening during a rare lull in the high Arctic hinds Paier, the highest peak in the Polar Urals lies in the background.
