To stop the rubbing between the saddle, stirrup leathers, and my legs, chappetes are by far the best option for riding day after day. Mountain Horse makes what are arguably the most practical, well designed, and comfortable chappettes on the Market. Both Kathrin and myself will be wearing them on a daily basis. REVIEW FROM THE ROAD These chappettes were an essential until the colder months when I began wearing knee high winter boots. The chappettes are well fitting, and in combination with my waterproof hiking boots, I could walk through strems up to my shins with not threat of water making it into my boots. The leather has worn well on the chappettes, and it has generally made for a comfortable ride. I would recommend these without doubt- they are the envy of all the herders and riders I meet along the way.
